The first time I held the vivo V40, the premium feel was immediately apparent! Honestly, I really like its elegant design with thin bezels and a curved frame. So, this phone is really comfortable to hold, doesn’t make you tired even though I use it for YouTube marathons or gaming for hours. The glass material on the back is what really makes the luxurious aura stand out. Plus, there is IP68 certification, so I don’t have to worry if it suddenly gets splashed with water or gets dusty when I’m hanging out at an outdoor cafe. Relax, under control!
Then, about the screen, this is the definition of pampering your eyes! Its 6.78-inch AMOLED screen is very smooth with a 120Hz refresh rate. Scrolling social media is super smooth, watching your favorite movies is also more alive with vibrant colors. The peak of it, the screen brightness can reach up to 4500 nits! Crazy, right? I’ve tried using it under the scorching sun at noon, and the V40’s screen is still very clear. No glare and no more drama peeking at the screen!
Gaming Performance: Its Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is No Joke!
Okay, as a techno freak and gamer, performance is a must for me! And I have to admit, the vivo V40 is no joke in the performance sector. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the V40 really gives a smooth experience. I’ve tried benchmarking using AnTuTu, and the results reached 855 thousand! For those who don’t know, that number means the V40 is really ready to be used in heavy games.
I myself have tried playing PUBG Mobile directly on high graphics settings, and it’s running smoothly! There is no frame drop or lag. Transitions between applications are also very responsive, especially supported by up to 12GB of RAM. Multitasking? No problem! Anyway, for those of you who like gaming or need a fast phone for work, the V40 can be relied on. I guarantee your gaming experience will increase drastically!
Zeiss Camera: The Results Are Jaw-Dropping, Similar to a Professional Camera!
Well, this is the champion! vivo’s collaboration with Zeiss on the V40 really makes me amazed with the results. I really like taking photos and videos, and the V40 is my trusty weapon. There are three 50MP cameras on the back (wide and ultrawide), plus a 50MP front camera too. Crazy, right? All resolutions are high!
My experience using the main camera, the daytime photos are very detailed, accurate colors, and good dynamic range. The portrait mode with the Zeiss bokeh effect really makes my photos more artistic and professional. The ultrawide photos are also wide and have minimal distortion. For selfies, the 50MP front camera also makes my face auto-glowing and the details are very sharp, not like a regular phone camera. Moreover, it is supported by PDAF, OIS, and gyro-EIS features, making my photos and videos anti-shaky club. I’ve tried recording 4K@30fps videos on all cameras, and the results are stable and detailed. Anyway, for those of you who like to create content or just want great photos to upload to social media, you should really consider the V40!
Battery & Fast Charging: Long-Lasting and Super Fast!
The last part that makes me fall in love with the vivo V40 is its battery and charging speed. Its 5500mAh battery is really tough! I can use this phone all day for various activities, from gaming, browsing, watching videos, to working, without having to charge it back and forth. This really makes me forget about power banks or electrical outlets. Seriously, it’s very comfortable!
And even if the battery runs out, don’t worry! There is an 80W fast charging feature. I’ve tried it myself, charging from a critical condition to full is very fast, in less than an hour it’s full again! So, for those of you who have high mobility and don’t want to bother waiting for your phone to charge for a long time, the V40 is a solution. Overall, the vivo V40 is really a complete package that is very difficult for me to ignore in its class.
