Hey guys, Boogeng here! Honestly, I’m already trembling with anticipation for Zenless Zone Zero’s release! HoYoverse always knows how to make us curious as heck, and this time, their urban fantasy ARPG is launching globally on July 4th, 2024. Just imagine, I’ve already set aside special free time to play this game on PS5, Android, iOS, or PC!
File Size: Prepare for Your Hard Disk to Scream!
Well, this is what made me widen my eyes when I found out! During the pre-release live stream of version 1.0 on June 28th, HoYoverse revealed something shocking: the download file size of Zenless Zone Zero on PC, OH MY GOODNESS, hits 110GB! I immediately thought, “Wow, is my home internet going to be okay?”, “Is my SSD enough to add a game this big?” This isn’t just a number, guys, but a real challenge for our storage and internet connection!
If it’s that big on PC, what about Android and iOS? There’s no official announcement yet, but from my experience with previous HoYoverse games, I’m very confident that the size won’t be small either. Maybe around 10-20GB after the initial download, then there will be another quite large update that needs to be downloaded. So, my advice, as someone who has often downloaded large games: from now on, prepare plenty of free space on your phone and make sure your WiFi is stable so that on the 4th, you won’t be biting your nails!
Welcome to New Eridu: A New World That’s Addictive
From what I saw on the live stream, Zenless Zone Zero really has a strong appeal. The story is set in a world that has been destroyed by the terrifying “Hollows” disaster. All that remains is one last metropolis, called New Eridu, which rises as the last bastion of civilization. Well, we will play the role of a “Proxy,” accompanied by unique and awesome characters, to enter those Hollows, fight monsters, complete missions, and find out the mystery behind New Eridu. The vibes, you know, futuristic mixed with fantasy, made me immediately curious to try it!
New Content & Cool Characters You Must Try!
HoYoverse was really total in the pre-release yesterday. They introduced a new plot in New Eridu, then there’s the Lumina Square commercial district which looks very lively, the Scott Outpost adventurer headquarters, up to new agents like Lucy and Piper from the Sons of Calydon that we can play! I can’t wait to try combining these characters and experience the gameplay myself. It’s definitely going to be awesome!
Oh yeah, there’s other good news too! Because the global registration for ZZZ has reached 40 million players, we’ll get a bunch of prizes and exciting events at the launch!
